When a brand new act yet to release their debut album have already put out three singles and are about to re-release their first, chances are the album doesn't have any other good songs on it, right? In the case of AlunaGeorge's forthcoming Body Music album, thankfully not. So while we've already had the excellent You Know You Like It (due out again on Sunday), the excellent Your Drums, Your Love and the excellent Attracting Flies, we've now got the excellent Superstar. Premiered here as part of a slightly complicated roll-out of the album involving one song going live on a different blog every hour today, we have no idea if it will ever be a single but it basically should be. Opening with a typically textured mass of synth squiggles, chopped up vocals and popping beats, it plays it fairly low-key for the verses before Aluna Francis' coquettish vocal joyfully takes things skywards for the chorus of "he's a superstar in his own home, in his own home". Brilliantly, if that chorus weren't enough, another, slightly different one follows immediately, and it's probably even better. You basically can't say fairer than that really.
