The BBC may be sending 300 BBC staff to Glastonbury – but its director general, Tony Hall, won't be one of them. The Times reports that the former Royal Opera House chief has said he prefers watching the festival at home on his iPhone. “The joy of Glastonbury for me last year was I didn’t go,” he said.
